Other cars page 2

The number of cars I wanted to display has grown, so here is another page of cars. Check back every few weeks, as I will be adding to this page.

My mother's '01 Oldsmobile Aurora
If I were to pick a car to drive every day, cost being no object, this is one of the cars I would choose. It "only" has the base V6 engine, but the 3.5L DOHC engine puts out 215HP. The leather seats and cockpit like layout of the interior is plush, informative, and VERY comfortable. The Aurora impressively combines soft ride quality while retaining sharp cornering. This is the car that doesn't get driven on bad weather days.

Smitty's '67 Cutlass drag car
This car is owned by "Smitty" of M & J Proformance. This is not the fastest Olds drag car around by any means, but it IS one of the most impressive. It has a 470 cubic inch Olds motor, which is made via a (steel) 425 crank with the rod journals cut down, BBC rods, and the stroke increased to 4.25". It has cast iron Olds E heads, a Torker intake, a large solid roller camshaft, and a Quadrajet carburetor. The car runs on 9" wide Goodyear slicks and is not tubbed, and does not use nitrous oxide. He uses the stock un-sumped fuel tank, with the huge Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump. This car has run 10.50's, and better ET's are expected in the cooler fall air.

Ken's '78 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser
This car is Ken's daily driver (same owner of the '72 Cutlass Supreme convertible on the previous page). It came stock with a 403 Olds, which is still bone stock and unrebuilt. Ken recently purchased this car with 125,000 miles on it. It is equipped with a TH-350 transmission, and 2.56 gears. The only modifications so far are the 15" chrome wheels, 275/60/R15 Goodyear tires, a sport steering wheel, a rebuilt Quadrajet carburetor, and a new catalytic 2-1/2" converter with cat-back dual exhaust. CLICK HERE for an under car shot of the exhaust. The Y-pipe was fabricated from a 2-1/2" single exhaust head pipe, and a Dynomax Impala SS aftermarket passenger side exhaust pipe. The tail pipes were made from Dynomax Impala SS 2-1/2" tail pipes. The mufflers are Summit Racing brand fully welded 304 stainless steel, and feature a nearly straight-thru design. I have these same mufflers on my '94 Caprice wagon. You can see the MIG welded joints on the tail pipes and Y-pipe. This behemoth has so far run a best time of 16.74 @ 83.04 MPH.
